Qwikmix™ Wall Plaster
Qwikmix™ Wall Plaster Cement-based and semi-coarse premixed plaster for plastering of brick works, block works and concrete walls, patching and other general uses.
1. Features and Benefits
Qwikmix™ Wall Plaster is a high quality premixed plaster for plastering on brick works, lightweight concrete block works and concrete surfaces. It is a cement-based and plaster which can be used in interior and exterior conditions. It is specially formulated for the replacement of conventional site-mixed cement/sand plaster as well as gypsum plaster. Wall Plaster can also be used for patching concrete as well as a masonry joint mortar for bed thickness of 4-10mm Wall Plaster should not be used on painted surfaces.
2. Procedure
- Ensure surface is clean and sound. Remove loose particle, grease and traces of foreign materials that may affect adhesion.
- Where necessary, especially on hot and high absorbent surface, dampen application of the plaster.
- Finished surface should be cured for 4-5 days.
- Mix product with the required amount clean water.
- Mix thoroughly with a mechanical mixer until mixture is homogeneous.
- Application should be done manually with steel trowel.
- No further addition of water is allowed to unused plaster that has exceeded its pot life of has begun to set.
3. Storage and Packing
Wall Plaster is delivered in 40 Kg bags. Storage life is 6 months if product is kept in sheltered and dry place.
